091 has become quite famous since Aurence first began to paint her in his works three years ago. In all of his renditions of 091 his signature items are depicted on her starboard side as he painted them for the filming of a In the Shadow of the Blade documentary. Robin Hood art is also shown as it was painted by the Robin Hoods for the documentary. In this print there is another Robin Hood Huey flying in the background. This painting was created with love in July of 2003 (the original is in our personal collection and not for sale). Depicted in this print is Ernie Dogwolf playing his flute as well as other veterans. Each state Huey 091 landed in is represented by a flag. |
Please note that all Giclee prints are not created equal. The finest inks and papers are used in the creation of Aurence's prints. The print looks like a fine watercolor. Our printer uses a $50,000 camera to shoot the originals. He often spends hours with Aurence's work and many times cannot create prints due to the glare he gets from Aurence's paints. They are very difficult to photograph which makes owning an original even more of a treasure.
Our printer uses museum grade 310 gram cold pressed rag cotton paper-acid free, of course. Pigmented ink will endure for 120-130 years if properly framed.
